In the 11th and 12th episodes of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama 'Connection' (aired on the 28th and 29th), it was revealed that Gong Jin-wook (played by Heeje Yoo) marked the beginning of Doctor Jung Sang-ui’s (played by Park Geun-rok) revenge. Gong Jin-wook showed remarkable boldness, asking Doctor Jung Sang-ui for a way to escape to China while handing over a gun and a mysterious USB that he had taken from Jang Jae-kyung (played by Ji-sung), saying, "This is all I have right now."
Doctor Jung Sang-ui then revealed his true identity to Gong Jin-wook, claiming, "I’m Park Tae-jin. Don’t you remember? From early last year." Gong Jin-wook was momentarily shocked by Doctor’s sudden revelation of his identity, but he quickly regained his composure, questioning, "Are you really Prosecutor Park Tae-jin?" without letting go of his doubts.
The show also revealed the origin of the bad blood between Gong Jin-wook and Jang Jae-kyung. Doctor Jung Sang-ui confessed to Jang Jae-kyung, "I didn't expect to lose Gong Jin-wook right from the start," indicating that Gong Jin-wook was part of his initial plan. Additionally, the preview for the 13th episode, shown at the end of the broadcast, teased a chase scene between Gong Jin-wook and Jang Jae-kyung, heightening viewers’ curiosity about where their 'Connection' will lead.
