디테일이 살아있는 연기로 몰입감 고조... 시청자 눈물

Actress Yuna has been delivering a compelling performance in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Good Partner’ (written by Choi Yuna, directed by Kim Garam, produced by Studio S and Studio&NEW), portraying the emotional turmoil of a child caught in her parent's divorce.
The drama has been a hit, ranking #1 in TV-OTT drama buzz for the first week of September, according to Good Data Corporation’s Fundex. Amid this success, Yuna’s character, Kim Jae-hee, the daughter of Cha Eun-kyung, has captured viewers’ hearts as she conveys the raw emotions and struggles of a child from a broken family. Here are some of the standout moments from Kim Jae-hee’s emotional journey.
Episode 6: “The other one will be hurt, right?”
In episode 6, with the divorce proceedings underway, Kim Jae-hee is asked to choose a parent for custody. She shocks everyone with her unexpected response. In a heart-wrenching scene, she tells Han Yuri (played by Nam Ji-hyun), a lawyer who shares her pain, “If I choose one, the other will get hurt, right? It doesn’t matter who’s wrong, they’re both my mom and dad.” Her maturity in thinking about her parents’ feelings rather than her moved viewers, with many commenting, “Jae-hee is the most grown-up here” and “I’m so sorry, Jae-hee.”
Episode 10: “The person who did wrong should be punished. The worst punishment for dad is not seeing me.”
In episode 10, Jae-hee confronts her father Kim Ji-sang, revealing that she had known about his affair long before anyone else. Tired of his excuses and lies, she tearfully says, “It hurt when you lied to me. You lied to me every day for a year. The person who did wrong should be punished, and the worst punishment for you is not being able to see me.” Her tearful outburst, especially since she had always adored her father, broke viewers' hearts, as they could feel the depth of her pain.

Episode 11: “I hate dad so much, but I miss him so much.”
In episode 11, during a trip with her mother Cha Eun-kyung, Jae-hee finally breaks down, unable to hold back the pain of her father’s absence after the divorce. Although she pretended to be okay in front of her mother, seeing children playing reminded her of memories with her dad. After a bicycle accident sends her to the hospital, she cries out in anguish, “I hate dad so much, but I miss him so much. Are we really going to be without him from now on?” This scene, where Jae-hee’s suppressed emotions explode, left both her mother and viewers in tears.
SBS’s ‘Good Partner’, featuring Yuna, airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM.
