[NEWS] CEO Soyoung Lee of Saram Entertainment Attends the '2024 Regional Collaboration Haeram Talk Concert'

Saram Entertainment's CEO, Soyoung Lee, will attend the '2024 Haeram Talk Concert with the Region,' which will be held today (24th).

The '2024 Haeram Talk Concert with the Region' is a talk concert organized by the General Education Center of the National Gangneung-Wonju University as part of the 2024 Gangwon Province University Development Promotion Project and the National University Promotion Project. The concert will be held at each campus, and this year, Soyoung Lee, CEO of Saram Entertainment, will attend and give a talk titled "Becoming a Future Leader: Vision and Cases of Creating Global Stars."

Soyoung Lee, the founder of Saram Entertainment, which represents artists such as Gong Myoung, Kim Sungkyu, Park Gyuyoung, Hoyeon, Cho Jinwoong, Jung Gunjoo, Choi Sooyoung, Choi Heejin, and Han Yeri, known for creating a successful global business model by expanding star IPs globally through sophisticated management based on branding that aligns with each artist's unique soul and philosophy. As a result, she was named one of 'The 35 Most Influential Women in International Broadcasting in 2023' by The Hollywood Reporter. Additionally, she received the 'Leadership Management Entertainment' award at the 2020 People's Empathy Campaign (NEC) by Dong-A Ilbo and the 'Creative Management 2020 - Innovation Brand' award by JoongAng Ilbo & JoongAng SUNDAY.

The content production business is also progressing smoothly. The co-produced drama Knight Flower set a new record as the highest-rated MBC Friday-Saturday drama of all time, and in August, it was selected for the "Bechdel Choice 10" series category, recognizing the significance of the work. The co-produced film A Girl With Closed Eyes has been selected for the "Korean Cinema Today - Special Premiere" section at the upcoming 29th Busan International Film Festival, where it will be showcased as a world premiere on October 2. Additionally, the drama Aloha, My Mothers, which CEO Soyoung Lee personally discovered as the original work and is currently working on the script for its screen adaptation, won the Excellence Award in the Drama Category at the 2024 Broadcasting and Video Content Planning Contest, drawing early attention from the industry. Saram Entertainment is also actively involved in both original productions and co-productions, including the film Dead Man and the TVING original series Death's Game.

In addition, CEO Lee expanded the business domain by launching Saram Entertainment Stage in July, a high-value & hyper-end platform that goes beyond being a space for artists and fans to freely communicate, offering a source of creativity and inspiration. This initiative is presenting a pioneering roadmap to the industry.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Haeram Talk Concert with the Region, where CEO Lee will participate, will be held twice: on September 24 at the Educational Support Center 109 Joint Lecture Hall at the Gangneung Campus of Gangneung-Wonju National University, and on October 8 at Taehwa Hall, Room 202, Building 3, College of Health and Welfare at the Wonju Campus. The event is open to residents and university members.
