Saram Entertainment CEO Soyoung Lee will be a speaker at the '2024 Haeram Talk Concert with the Region'.
The '2024 Haeram Talk Concert with the Region' is a talk concert held at each campus as part of the 2024 Gangwon Special Province University Development Support Project and the National University Development Project by the Department of General Education at the National Gangneung-Wonju University. This year, the concert will take place at both the Gangneung and Wonju campuses. CEO Lee, the founder of Saram Entertainment and an artist branding marketer, will meet with university students as a guest speaker.
At the first 'Haeram Talk Concert' held at the Gangneung campus on September 24, CEO Lee delivered a lecture titled 'Becoming a Leading Talent of the Future: Vision and Cases That Created Global Stars,' which received a great response from the audience. She shared her insights on global leadership, content creation, talent development, and the know-how for discovering global stars, offering a meaningful experience for the students. As a result, there is even greater anticipation and attention for her second talk concert at the Wonju campus of National Gangneung-Wonju University on October 8.
Soyoung Lee, the founder of Saram Entertainment, home to artists like Gong Myoung, Kim Sungkyu, Park Gyuyoung, Jung Hoyeon, Cho Jinwoong, Jung Gunjoo, Choi Sooyoung, Choi Heejin, and Han Yeri, has built a successful global business model by expanding star IP globally through sophisticated management based on artist branding that aligns with the unique soul and philosophy of each artist. As a result, she was named one of the '35 Most Influential Women in International Broadcasting' in 2023 by The Hollywood Reporter. She has also received the Leadership Management Entertainment Award at the 2020 Dong-A Ilbo National Sympathy Campaign (NEC) and the 'Innovative Brand' award at the 2020 JoongAng Ilbo & JoongAng SUNDAY 'The Creative Management' awards.

The content production business is also thriving. The film Dead Man, the Tving original series Death's Game, and the co-produced drama Knight Flower have all been successful. Knight Flower set a new record as the highest-rated MBC Friday-Saturday drama of all time. It was selected for the Bechdel Choice 10 series category in August, earning recognition for its significance. The co-produced film A Girl With Closed Eyes was selected for the 'Korean Cinema Today - Special Premiere' category at the 29th Busan International Film Festival, which began on October 2, and it premiered as a world premiere, drawing significant attention from industry professionals. Additionally, the drama Aloha, My Mothers, for which CEO Lee personally discovered the original work and is currently working on the script for the video adaptation, won the Excellence Award in the drama category at the 2024 Broadcast Video Content Planning Contest, attracting early attention from the industry. In this way, Saram Entertainment continues its active content production across both drama and film.
Furthermore, in July, a high-value and hyper-end platform Saram Entertainment Stage was launched. It goes beyond a space for artists and fans to communicate freely, providing a source of creativity and inspiration and presenting a pioneering roadmap to the industry.
Meanwhile, the '2024 Haeram Talk Concert with the Region', featuring CEO Soyoung Lee, will take place on October 8 at the Taehwa Hall (Room 202) of the College of Health and Welfare, Wonju Campus. It is open to residents and university members.
