[NEWS] Actress Yuna, Cast as Lead in the Movie 'The Second Child', First Challenge with Dual Role!

Actress #Yuna has been cast as the lead in the movie The Second Child.

On the 11th, her agency Saram Entertainment announced that Yuna has been cast as the lead in the upcoming film The Second Child (directed by Yoo Eun Jung). The Second Child is a suspense thriller about the mysterious events surrounding the return of the second daughter Su An (Park So I), who wakes from a coma after three years, and her mother Geum Ok (Im Soo Jung), who believes her first daughter Soo Ryeon has committed suicide. The story takes a twist when Geum Ok and Su An are confronted by Jae In, a doppelganger of her deceased daughter.

Yuna will take on the roles of both Soo Ryeon and Jae In, marking her first-ever dual role challenge. She will portray Jae In, who looks exactly like Soo Ryeon, adding intense drama and suspense to the film.

Despite her young age, Yuna has built a solid filmography, having appeared in various works such as Pachinko (Apple TV+), The Kidnapping Day, and Good Partner. Recently, in the drama Good Partner, she portrayed Kim Jae Hee, a character struggling with complex emotions related to her parents' divorce, earning widespread praise for her deep and nuanced acting.

With her exceptional performances in previous roles, Yuna's first venture into the horror genre in The Second Child has raised high expectations from viewers.
