The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘Doubt’ (written by Han Ah Young, directed by Song Yeon Hwa) premiered on the 11th. This drama is a father-daughter thriller in which the country's top profiler confronts the secrets of his daughter while investigating a murder case, ultimately chasing the truth from the depths of despair. Han Ye Ri plays Lee Eo Jin, a member of the Criminal Behavior Analysis Team led by Jang Tae Soo (played by Han Suk Kyu).

Eo Jin makes her first appearance dressed in a neatly pressed suit with a sharp bob haircut. She enters the interview room alongside Koo Dae Hong (played by Noh Jae Won) to choose Tae Soo's successor. When asked by Tae Soo what the most important factor is in investigating a kidnapping and murder case, she answers without hesitation, "I think it's important to first understand the facts objectively and not fill in the gaps with assumptions."

When Dae Hong suggests that understanding the victim's traits is crucial, Eo Jin responds, "Isn't it important to treat both the suspect and the victim as subjects of thorough analysis to maintain objectivity?" She then sharply states, “If I were the victim, I would want a police officer who would identify the culprit, rather than one who would cry for me.”

Afterward, Eo Jin joined Dae Hong as part of the Criminal Behavior Analysis Team and made her first visit to a crime scene. Eo Jin briefed Tae Soo on the parts she discovered at the scene, and when Tae Soo refuted her points, she immediately agreed and took notes. Tae Soo scolded Eo Jin for her passive attitude, and Eo Jin responded not by shrinking back but by saying, "I really want to do well from now on," expressing her determination with a smile.

Han Ye Ri effectively portrayed Eo Jin's rational side, prioritizing facts over emotions and cases over people. She conveyed this through her precise diction, stable acting, and neat styling. Notably, Eo Jin asking Tae Soo with sparkling eyes, "If I pass, will I be able to work with you?", showed her admiration for him. Eo Jin's disappointment after finding out that Tae Soo had chosen Dae Hong instead of her for the team sparked anticipation for how she would grow as Tae Soo's team member.
