Han Ye Ri completely turned back on Han Suk Kyu.

In episodes 8 and 9 of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama ‘Doubt’ (planned by Namgung Sung, directed by Song Yeon Hwa, written by Han Ah Young, produced by Ascendio and Woodside), Lee Eo Jin (played by Han Ye Ri) relentlessly digs into the truth that is being hidden by Jang Tae Su (played by Han Suk Kyu) and his daughter Jang Ha Bin (played by Chae Won bin).

Lee Eo Jin, suspecting a connection between Jang Ha Bin and the murdered victims, keeps a close eye on her. She eventually has a chance for a one-on-one with Jang Ha Bin, during which she tests whether Jang Ha Bin knows Choi Young Min (played by Kim Jeong Jin). Lee Eo Jin then brings a broken cup that Jang Ha Bin had discarded and conducts a DNA test comparing it to a necklace found at the murder scene of Choi Young Min. The result confirms a match, and Jang Ha Bin is now considered the prime suspect in the murder, while Jang Tae Su is excluded from the investigation.

Later, Lee Eo Jin uncovers that Jang Ha Bin had fabricated an alibi. Disappointed, she confronts Jang Tae Su, asking, "You knew Jang Ha Bin forged the alibi, didn't you?" and expresses her frustration, saying, “Aren't you ashamed as a police officer? I regret ever respecting you as my team leader.”

Han Ye Ri portrayed Lee Eo Jin's feelings of betrayal and disillusionment in a moment when her trust in her superior turns into doubt and certainty. In particular, when Jang Tae Su insists on his daughter’s innocence, she says, "I expected everything from Jang Ha Bin. Right now, you're helping Jang Ha Bin with her plan," capturing a complex mix of disappointment, frustration, and sorrow towards Jang Tae Su. Han Ye Ri's detailed emotional performance, especially in conveying the fleeting emotions of the character, has deepened the audience's engagement and immersion in the story.

Meanwhile, the last episode of ‘Doubt’ will air at 9:50 PM on Friday, the 15th.
