Saram Entertainment CEO Soyoung Lee stated, “Under our company slogan 'Better SARAM,' Saram Entertainment launched the new 'Single Drop' campaign inspired by the Hummingbird Story.”

The charity photoshoot for the December issue of Marie Claire features Saram Entertainment's actresses Park Gyuyoung, Jung Hoyeon, Choi Sooyoung, and Han Yeri.

This project, centered around the theme of ‘Sustainable Journey’, is a collaboration of Saram Entertainment, the four artists—Park Gyuyoung, Jung Hoyeon, Choi Sooyoung, and Han Yeri—Marie Claire, and fashion brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Etro, and ADEKUVER. The funds raised through brand donations will be used to create forests for urban farmers working with the eco-friendly organization, Farmer's Market Marche, which is dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for farmers in the face of the climate crisis.

The photoshoot concept is inspired by the ‘Hummingbird Story’ from the Andes of South America. The story depicts a hummingbird that, while all the other animals flee from a forest fire, repeatedly carries small drops of water in its beak and drops them onto the flames. When other animals mock the hummingbird, it responds, "I’m just doing what I can." This story serves as the motto for the shoot. Through this concept, the four actresses from Saram Entertainment—Park Gyuyoung, Jung Hoyeon, Choi Sooyoung, and Han Yeri—transformed into hummingbirds, conveying the powerful message that even small, seemingly insignificant actions can lead to significant change. The shoot highlights this theme, drawing attention to the importance of making a difference, no matter how small.

In the released photoshoot, Park Gyuyoung, Jung Hoyeon, Choi Sooyoung, and Han Yeri transform into hummingbirds, showcasing their unique personalities and captivating the camera. Park Gyuyoung exudes chicness in a black dress, while her green knit outerwear and midi dress incorporate the essence of a hummingbird, blending nature into her look. Jung Hoyeon portrays an elegant hummingbird with her bold eyeshadow in vibrant colors and a lace dress, drawing all eyes to her. Choi Sooyoung's outfit expresses the fluttering of a hummingbird's wings and adds a floral prop to evoke a mesmerizing mood. Lastly, Han Yeri completes the visual with graceful movements and expressions, crafting a human hummingbird that leaves viewers in awe.

Saram Entertainment has been consistently conducting ESG campaigns since 2016. It started with donating all proceeds of the sales of their charity calendar to the international relief organization Oxfam. In 2018, they launched the environmental campaign ‘PLEASE, SAVE MY EARTH’ encouraging the use of tumblers instead of paper cups with their artists. In 2019, through Happy Bean funding, they produced the charity calendar 'LET'S SAVE THE EARTH,' with all proceeds donated to creating an urban forest at Sky Park in Mapo-gu. Furthermore, in 2021, they collaborated with the social cooperative Han River on the "2021 Climate Change Reducing Urban Forest Project" and contributed to the creation of a second urban forest at Yeouido Saetgang Eco Park.

CEO Soyoung Lee of Saram Entertainment stated, “Saram Entertainment has been continuously promoting ESG campaigns. We launched the ‘Single Drop’ campaign inspired by the Hummingbird Story, starting with the charity photoshoot in collaboration with Marie Claire under our slogan, ‘Better SARAM’. We will also reveal related projects in phases, and we ask for your continued support and anticipation.”
