Following the immense global success of To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You in 2023, the spin-off series XO, Kitty is back with its second season. In this new season, Choi Minyeong playing the role of Dae, the boyfriend of Kitty (played by Anna Cathcart), took the lead again and captured global media attention with his international press junket appearances.
In December, Choi Minyeong attended the XO, Kitty Season 2 overseas promotion in Hollywood, drawing attention with his worldwide promotional efforts. He participated in interviews with major U.S. media outlets like Deadline and Buzzfeed, as well as global magazines like Teen Vogue. He also attended the screening event for Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2 in LA, joining other K-content stars. Additionally, Choi Minyeong proved his global status by attending the prestigious Asian American awards show, the Unforgettable Gala, alongside his XO, Kitty co-stars.
In XO, Kitty Season 1, Choi Minyeong played the role of Kitty's boyfriend Dae, the reason why Kitty transferred to KISS (Korean International School of Seoul). His fluent English acting and heartfelt portrayal of a teenage romance left a lasting impression, proving him to be a rising global star. As he returns to play Dae in Season 2, there is much anticipation and excitement about the new charms he will bring to the character.
Meanwhile, Choi Minyeong also performs on stage in the musical Clover, meeting audiences in Daehangno. The Netflix series XO, Kitty Season 2, featuring his performance, will be released worldwide on the 16th.
