Actor #SimWoosung Shares His Thoughts on the Finale of Study Group
In the final episode of the TVING original drama Study Group (directed by Lee Jang Hoon, Yoo Beom Sang, written by Eom Sun Ho, Oh Bo Hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by YLAB Flex, and presented by TVING), Na Taeman (played by Sim Woosung) successfully arrests Pi Hanwool (played by Cha Woomin), the mastermind behind Yuseong High School’s dark schemes.
Na Taeman serves as a mentor and ally to Gamin (played by Hwang Minhyun), who only has talent for fighting. He also actively helps Gamin and other members of the Study Group, playing a crucial supporting role. He showcases his passionate detective instincts by tracking down the real culprit behind the Ancheon Port murder case. Using his sharp investigative skills, he spots inconsistencies in Soonchul’s (played by Joo Yeonwoo) false testimony, ultimately playing a key role in uncovering the true criminal and heightening the drama’s intensity.
Bringing energy to the series with his solid acting, Sim Woosung shared his thoughts on the drama’s conclusion, saying, “I feel really sad that Study Group has come to an end, and I know I’ll miss it a lot.” He added, “The nonstop excitement throughout all 10 episodes made it such a rewarding experience. I’m incredibly grateful to the director, staff, and fellow actors for their hard work, and I sincerely thank everyone who loved Study Group.”
Sim Woosung has showcased his talent across various projects, including the Netflix series Money Heist: Korea – Korea, Somebody, and Narco-Saints, as well as dramas like A Virtuous Business, Queen of Tears, and Vincenzo.
