Premiering on April 3rd, the TVING Original Series ‘Way Back Love’ is a youth fantasy romance about Heewan (Kim Minha), who has shut herself off from the world—until her first love, Ramwoo (Gong Myoung), returns as a grim reaper. Ramwoo, who reappeared before Heewan six years after his passing, will be completing a wild bucket list.

New stills reveal Gong Myoung’s complete transformation into Kim Ramwoo. His signature warm gaze and gentle smile perfectly capture the nostalgic charm of a first love, as he effortlessly pulls off a high school uniform. Meanwhile, as a grim reaper, his black trench coat and long leather jacket create a mysterious yet comforting presence, heightening curiosity about his character.

Gong Myoung chose Way Back Love as his first drama in four years, drawn to its mix of cuteness, romance, and heartfelt emotions. As seen in the stills and trailers, his diverse performance is already heightening anticipation.

His portrayal was recognized early on at last year’s Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), where Way Back Love was invited to the On Screen section. Audiences praised his performance, saying, "His seamless transitions through timelines were flawless" and “Gong Myoung looks amazing as a grim reaper.” Director Kim Hyeyoung also shared her admiration, stating, "He has a unique ability to express deep emotions with quiet restraint.
