Actress Oh Woori Continues Her Rise with Way Back Love.
The upcoming TVING original series Way Back Love (produced by CJ ENM and Studio Mondo, distributed by TVING), set to premiere on April 3, is a youth fantasy romance that begins when Ramwoo (played by Gong Myoung), the first love of 24-year-old Heewan (played by Kim Minha), reappears as a grim reaper just as she’s drifting through life without much purpose. As Heewan faces just one week left to live, the two set out to complete her bucket list, uncover long-buried secrets, and rediscover the meaning of life and love.
Oh Woori plays Taekyung, Heewan’s closest friend in the series. Taekyung is an inseparable companion to Heewan, but as Heewan grows closer to Ramwoo, she begins to feel hurt and experiences jealousy when it comes to her own uncertainties about the future. Taekyung embodies the raw and honest emotions many go through during their teenage years. Oh Woori is expected to portray these complex feelings with subtlety and depth, adding emotional richness and immersion to the drama.

Previously, Oh Woori drew attention with her role as Choi Kyung in the STUDIO X+U drama Friendly Rivalry, where she played a character who constantly finds herself in second place behind Jei (played by Lee Hyeri). While she appears to be the model student on the outside, Choi Kyung struggles with deep-seated feelings of inferiority. Oh Woori portrayed this duality with impressive nuance, earning praise not only in Korea but also from a growing global fanbase. With her rising profile as an actress to watch, expectations are high for her performance in Way Back Love.
Meanwhile, the TVING original series Way Back Love is set to premiere with episodes 1 and 2 on April 3, exclusively on TVING.
