[NEWS] Actress Oh Woori Transforms from Prickly Model Student in 'Friendly Rivalry' to Cheerful High Schooler in 'Way Back Love'
Bestie Woori Backs Minha’s Crush in 'Way Back Love'

Actress #OhWoori has flawlessly transformed into a bubbly high schooler in Way Back Love, supporting her best friend’s crush and bringing vibrant energy to the drama.
In episodes 1 and 2 of the TVING original series Way Back Love (produced by CJ ENM and Studio Mondo, distributed by TVING), released on April 3, Oh Woori plays the role of Yoon Taekyung, the irreplaceable best friend and soulmate of Heewan (played by Kim Minha).

Taekyung was the first to notice that her best friend Heewan had a crush on Ramwoo — and she cheered her on more than anyone. When Jisoo (played by Jung Lael) asked Taekyung to ghostwrite a love letter to Ramwoo, she secretly hid Heewan, who was desperately trying to avoid the situation. And when Heewan insisted she wouldn’t confess, Taekyung encouraged her to be honest and just go for it. With her coolness, she became a strong and reliable supporter of her best friend’s unrequited love.
Taekyung's lively high schooler moments also stood out. From enjoying tteokbokki with Heewan after school to competing in marker tattoo battles, her portrayal of a spirited high school girl was realistic and added to the immersion of the story.

Right from the first episode, Oh Woori showed perfect chemistry with Kim Minha, delivering lively and realistic high school acting that brought her character to life. Following her nuanced performance in the hit drama Friendly Rivalry, she once again impressed viewers in Way Back Love with her refreshing energy and versatile charm as Taekyung. Audiences are excited to see what new sides Oh Woori will reveal next.
Way Back Love, starring Oh Woori, releases every Thursday at 12 PM on TVING.
