Actress #LeeTaeyul Cast as ‘Yeongrong’ in tvN’s New Monday-Tuesday Drama ‘Second Shot at Love’.

On April 17, Lee Taeyul’s agency, Saram Entertainment, announced, “Lee Taeyul has been cast as Yeongrong in tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama Second Shot at Love.”

Second Shot at Love (written by Myeong Soohyun and Jun Jihyun / directed by Jang Yujeong / planned by Studio Dragon / produced by HOW Pictures) is a romantic comedy that follows a self-proclaimed ‘moderate drinker’ who reunites with her first love—a man who despises alcohol—and sets out on a journey of sobriety and emotional healing.

In the series, Lee Taeyul takes on the role of Yeongrong, a physical therapist at the Bocheon Health Center, where Euijun (played by Gong Myoung) serves as director. Once helped by Geumjoo (played by Choi Sooyoung) during their school days, Yeongrong has since become one of her most loyal admirers. As a bright and charming resident of Bocheon Village, her character is expected to add warmth and vibrancy to the story.

Lee Taeyul is a rising actor with a growing portfolio, having appeared in stage productions such as R&J, The Praise of Death, Children of the Black Mouse, as well as Disney+ original series A Shop for Killers. In 2025, she will further broaden her acting range by playing Angustias in the stage play Bernarda Deon. Many are looking forward to the fresh charm Lee Taeyul will bring to Second Shot at Love.

Meanwhile, Second Shot at Love will premiere on Monday, May 12 at 8:50 PM KST on tvN.
