Yoon Sohui in brain survival game — eyes on her strategy

Actress #YoonSohui takes on her first survival show with Devil’s Plan: Death Room.
Premiering today (6th), Netflix’s entertainment show Devil’s Plan: Death Room is a brain survival competition where players from various professions live together for seven days to determine the ultimate strategist. Season 1 gained significant attention, topping Netflix Korea’s Today’s Top 10 series list, entering the Top 10 in 23 countries, and ranking 3rd in Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV Shows.
In the new season, the competition returns fiercer than ever with enhanced rules and an expanded set. Among the cast is Yoon Sohui, a KAIST graduate and actress with a background in science and engineering, drawing attention for her debut in the survival genre.

Yoon Sohui, a KAIST graduate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and alumna of Sejong Science High School, is widely recognized as one of the intelligent figures in the entertainment industry. She has drawn attention for her smart charm through appearances on variety shows such as Problematic Men and Naked World History, where she showcased both her scientific knowledge and outstanding problem-solving skills.
At the press conference held earlier, Yoon Sohui shared her thoughts on joining the show. “To be honest, I’m not someone who enjoys competition, so I previously declined other survival programs. But with Devil’s Plan: Death Room, I was drawn to director Jung Jongyeon’s direction and inspired by friends who appeared in Season 1. That made me want to challenge myself, too.” With Devil’s Plan: Death Room marking her first foray into a survival format, viewers are eager to see what strategy Yoon Sohui will bring to the game.
Meanwhile, Devil’s Plan: Death Room featuring Yoon Sohui begins streaming today (6th) on Netflix, with episodes 1–4 released in the first week, followed by episodes 5–9 in week two, and episodes 10–12 in week three.
