Actor #MoonDonghyeok Cast in tvN’s New Weekend Drama Our Unwritten Seoul
On May 14, Saram Entertainment announced that actor Moon Donghyeok will appear in the upcoming tvN weekend drama Our Unwritten Seoul (written by Lee Kang / directed by Park Shinwoo / Planned by Studio Dragon / Produced by Monster Union, High Ground). The series is a romantic coming-of-age drama about twin sisters who trade lives in a bold lie, leading them to discover true love and a deeper sense of self.
Moon Donghyeok plays the role of Song Kyunggu, the heir to Kyunggu Mart. Having grown up in Duson-ri alongside Miji (played by Park Boyoung) since childhood, Kyunggu is a long-time companion who, despite his grumbling, quietly comforts her as a dependable friend—bringing energy to the drama.
Previously, Moon Donghyeok has showcased his versatility across a range of platforms, including films such as The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil and Ms. Apocalypse, Netflix’s original series Kingdom, and dramas like Start Up, The Devil Judge, and See You in My 19th Life. In his most recent work, My Sweet Mobster, he portrayed Yang Honggi, the head of marketing at “Thirsty Deer,” a meat processing company run by Seo Jihwan (played by Um Tae-goo), leaving a strong impression with his comedic performance.
With his growing reputation for delivering compelling character performances, audiences are eager to see what Moon Donghyeok will bring to Our Unwritten Seoul.
