[NEWS] Gong Myoung successfully wraps up first solo fanmeeting in Korea, marking 12 years since debut
“Don’t forget our time together” — 210 minutes with fans

Actor #GongMyoung successfully held his first solo fanmeeting in Korea.
On May 24, Gong Myoung’s fanmeeting ‘May I GONGMYOUNG?’ took place at Yearimdang Art Hall in Seoul. He opened the event with a heartfelt performance of John Park’s “This Ain't It,” and took a walk down memory lane with fans, reflecting on his filmography — from the hit movie Extreme Job to recent works like Way Back Love and Second Shot at Love. The energy rose even higher as he lit up the stage with dance performances to NCT U’s “Make A Wish (Birthday Song),” NCT 127’s “Walk,” and NCT DOJAEJUNG’s “Perfume.”

A special birthday celebration also took place — Gong Myoung’s younger brother, NCT’s Doyoung, made a surprise appearance.
Despite his busy schedule preparing for a comeback and concert, Doyoung showed up to congratulate his brother on hosting his first solo fanmeeting, showcasing their close bond. Gong Myoung was visibly surprised and touched by the unexpected visit, creating a heartwarming moment for everyone.
There was also a time for deeper connection with fans. A live poll was held to choose a nickname for the fandom, and Gong Myoung took time to interact with every single attendee. Fans asked Gong Myoung questions they had long been curious about or requested things they had wanted to see, and he responded with honest and cheerful answers.

Gong Myoung’s love for his fans was also evident in the fanmeeting merchandise.
As this was his first time meeting Korean fans in 12 years since debut, he personally designed, ordered, and packaged gifts such as tumblers, handkerchiefs, and postcards — adding an extra touch of sincerity.
From the fanmeeting title, merchandise, segment planning, to even inviting the guest, Gong Myoung poured his heart into every detail of the 210-minute event. He shared, “I hope my presence brings you energy. And just as much, your love gives me great strength. I hope you never forget the time we shared today and the time we’ll share in the future.” He added, “Thank you for coming. And thank you again for being with me through all my moments.” The event concluded with a “Hi-Bye” session.

From new projects to his fanmeeting, Gong Myoung is undoubtedly one of the most active stars of 2025. He recently played the role of grim reaper Kim Ramwoo in the TVING series Way Back Love, portraying the bittersweet emotions of a first love in youth. He then took on the role of Seo Euijun, head of the Bocheon Health Center, in tvN’s Monday–Tuesday drama Second Shot at Love, drawing attention for his nuanced and grounded performance. Up next, Gong Myoung is set to show a whole new side of himself as Koo Junmo, the heir of “Bongsan,” in the upcoming Netflix series Mercy for None, which premieres on June 6.
Meanwhile, Second Shot at Love, starring Gong Myoung, airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM on tvN.
